Auckland Prison upgrade

About this Project

Fletcher Construction built a modern new facility at Paremoremo Prison, as a major redevelopment project for the existing prison which was built in the early 1960’s. The new facility was opened in 2018.

Topcoat was involved on site in late 2016 and throughout 2017, with a team of specialist applicators. Our scope included door and window grouting, sealant and specialist coatings application. In total, we applied over 70m³ of Sika 212 grout, 22,000 lineal metres of non-pick sealant, and over 8,000m² of specialist coatings. Sikafloor 315 was applied to all walkways and corridors.
