About Topcoat
Peter Shepherd established Topcoat in 1993, and the company is now a leader in the application of applied resin coatings & toppings, waterproofing systems and concrete repair solutions. As a professional independent applicator, Topcoat can draw on a huge wealth of knowledge and expertise to individually design a range of options specific to our client’s individual requirements.
We are dedicated to meeting our clients’ needs at all times, and we pride ourselves on ensuring all work is completed in a professional, friendly and timely manner.
We currently have a staff of around 90, including administration, a team of 3 quantity surveyors, health & safety representatives and links to sub trades. Our specialist team is comprised of competent BCITO qualified tradesmen and we have an ongoing commitment to training, in order to keep our staff skills in tune with new technology.
In Auckland we operate from a 1000m² purpose built building, complete with warehouse and Dangerous Goods Store. In 2011 Topcoat South Island was established and this branch based in Christchurch now has a team of around 40. In 2019, we expanded our South Island operations to include a Central Otago branch, based in Queenstown.
