About this Project

One of the three key reservoirs serving the Arrowtown Millbrook area was taken out of service due to leaking slabs and compromised control/cold joints — resulting in a 33% reduction in the region’s fresh water storage capacity. Veolia engaged Topcoat to deliver a long-term, reliable solution to restore the reservoir’s integrity and protect critical infrastructure.

As certified applicators of the Sika Combiflex system, our team applied SG-20 with Sikadur 31 epoxy bandage to seal leaking slab joints and provide robust protection at floor-wall junctions and control joints. This system offers proven durability, flexibility and long-term performance for water-retaining structures.

The project was completed successfully, with the reservoir returned to service, restoring full water storage capacity to the region. Our collaborative approach with Veolia ensured minimal downtime and a lasting result.
